The best and most authentic middle eastern food in south jersey! Our meal was amazing. We ordered falafel (could be a little more moist), hummus (perfect), shawarma sandwich (perfect), Sam’s platter (perfect). We warmed our fries up at home since they got a little cold by the time we got back. I couldn’t be happier there’s an authentic place near us that gets the flavors down exactly the way they should be. The people working there are extremely kind and took time out to chat while they were busy and we are now loyal customers who will get through the entire menu slowly! Can’t wait to go back, so satisfied!

I’ve tried a few dishes from here now and every time I’m blown away! Pictured is the shish kebab platter with rice, Sam’s combo (kofta kebab, chicken kebab, schwarma) and rice, knafeh and harisseh. The meats are so tender and flavorful. The chicken kebab is cooked to perfection and so juicy and bursting with flavor. The schwarma is always delicious and the best I have had! The portion sizes are huge and there’s plenty leftovers. The salad is so refreshing. All the ingredients taste so fresh. The meats are always so moist and never dried out. Make sure you get desserts with your meal! I highly recommend the knafeh! It’s the best out of anywhere around! The owners of Falafel King and Al Baraka meat market next door are truly what makes this place special! They are kind and welcoming and go above and beyond for their customers. I love learning about the cuisine and culture and am grateful for your kindness!

I often ride by this spot and always was curious so I decided to stop on in and try some of there food. Once I walked in I knew I was in for a treat. The smell of the made to order food was a pleasure to my nose. Everything was fresh and made to order. I tried their Sam Chicken Shawarma sandwich. I also tried the chicken kabab platter and of course an order of the falafel since they are Falafel King. Everything was GOOD and I'll be back again.

I ordered the shawarma sandwich and the lentil soup. Both were delivered fresh and piping. Given south Asian roots i can taste a food lentil soup and this hit the spot. The shawarma was nice with added veggies but taste wise was nice but nothing that would knock your socks off. The toum sauce is a great accompaniment with the shawarma and overall the meal is a nice to have if you haven't tried. The staff is courteous and considerate of their customer needs

The food is GOOD. Halal. Right next to Aldi and a halal market?!?! Amazing stuff. The owner gave us a free sample of the soup when we came to pick up our food and the soup tasted amazing, we will definitely be back just to have some of the lentil soup. The portion sizes are good, everything is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Just a heads up, this is more of a take out place than a dine-in type of place.

The food was amazing! They gave us a taste of the curry soup and I could have eaten a whole bowl. We had the chicken shawarma platter with rice, falafel, chicken shawarma sandwhich, & Sam's shawarma sandwich.

We recently tried Falafel King for the first time and, as lovers of Middle Eastern cuisine, we were not disappointed! Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. Sam’s Combo Platter offered a fantastic variety of tastes—perfect for trying a bit of everything. The grape leaves were tender and delicious. And the baklava? Truly amazing! I didn’t even want to share it with my husband. We’re thrilled to have found such a gem for takeout and will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Middle Eastern flavors.
